The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly happening.
